Our first stop to day was Tabgha that commemorates the feeding of the 5000

Then onto Capharnaum and visited the house of Peter and the Synagog.  Anita was our reader here.

We then had the experience of a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee with my favorite captain, Daniel Carmel.  I understand he may be coming to Florida in January.

Then onto the Ancient Boat Museum and a little bit of shopping

Next to Magdala which is a new dig where they have found a first century synagog.  They have also built a beautiful church there that has the altar in the shape of a boat.

Amber also found a new friend here

 We finished up our tour of the day with a visit to Peter's Primacy where Laura did the reading about Jesus meeting the disciples on the Sea of Galilee after the resurrection.

After dinner we headed to Tiberius for some Gelato
